A number of scholars, official and community figures had attended the festival. Imam Ali Holy Shrine had participated in this festival with official delegation. The delegation included Sayyed Issa Al-Khirsan, Head of the Media Department, Mr. Ali Zuwain, Head of the News Division, Mr. Haider Razak Shamran, and representatives of the Public Relations Department at Imam Ali Holy Shrine.
The ceremony began with a recite of the Holy Quran by the international reader Karim Mansouri. Then, Sheikh Qassim al-Hisnawi, Secretary of the Special Shrine presented his speech. Later Sayyed Muhammad Ali Al-Hilu delivered his speech, in which he reviewed the virtues of Imam Zine El Abidine (peace be upon him).
After that the poems and chants started.
At the end of the festival, the honor gifts were distributed for the holy shrines and the media that attended the international festival.
The member of the Board of Directors of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Issa Al-Khirsan, said: "Imam Ali Holy Shrine has an annual participation in this international festival with its continuous participation in various events and forums. There is fruitful cooperation between Imam Ali Holy Shrine Zaid Al-Shaheed Sanctuary in various fields, including the active presence for the festival today."
