The role of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is not limiting to sponsoring and organizing the Book Fair but it is also participating by several pavilions that are as follows:
First: The pavilion of the Department of intellectual and cultural affairs, including many periodical and quarterly magazines and publications, books and various booklets in addition to religious, academic moral and educational titles for all categories and classes.
Second: The pavilion of the Department of the Islamic and Human Knowledge, including a series of its publications issued by the heritage centers of Karbala, Hillah and Basra, as well as the presentation of copies of the Holy Quran of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in various sizes.
Third: The pavilion of the Department of gifts and vows, in which the department has participated with a collection produced by the Department's staff of silver works such as rings, pieces of the embossed marble and others in addition to embroidered artistic works etc. to be accessible to the hands-visitors of the pavilion.
Fourth: The pavilion of Al-Kafeel printing house for publication and distribution was also present by displaying models of what is printed in it, along with the techniques and methods using in the printing at the house.
Fifth: The pavilion of the division of childhood and youth of the Department of intellectual and cultural affairs, displaying publications for children, whether magazines, stories or educational publications addressed for the children and young people.
It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has multiple participations in exhibitions and festivals inside and outside Iraq, in which its pavilion witnesses increasing demand from the public and an increase in the number of publications in each new exhibition.
