But there is a special day where most of them rush to participate in it, for its special effect in their hearts; the fourth of the blessed month of Sha'ban in which we celebrate the birth anniversary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), whom they have the honor to serve, as in such a day the happiness waves have overwhelmed the members of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) as their bright moon was born to lit up the world with its virtues and eternal glory.
This ceremony coincided with one of the events of the International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Spring, which guests were honored to attend it and participate along with the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to congratulate all the believers on this occasion; the birth anniversary of the moon of the tribe of Bani Hashem and the standard-bearer of Imam al-Hussayn; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), while they were standing in front of his sacred shrine.
The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by the Deputy Secretary-General Engineer Bashir Mohamad Jassem, in which he welcomed the distinguished guests and participating delegations in the thirteenth International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Spring then has spoken about what this rite represents for the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
Then, Sheikh Karam Haidari from Pakistan has stated to al-Kafeel Network: "I am really happy to participate in this blessed and successful festival held by the two holy shrines. And our participation today in this beautiful worship rite has given us an indescribable feeling, as these beautiful words are heart-warming and show the extent of sacrifice offered by the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for the victory of his brother Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)."
