The meeting was attended by the governor of Najaf, Mr. Luay al-Yasiri, Najaf Provincial Council Chairman Majid Zinni, representatives of all service and academic departments in the province and the donors to the project.
the manager of the office of the secretary general of imam Ali Holy Shrine, Mr. Montazer Al-Araji said, "As part of the efforts of Imam Ali Holy Shrine to serve the holy visitor, the Secretariat has decided to help one of the projects that are in the benefit of visitors of Imam Hussein, which is a bridge on the road of Ya Hussein opposite the airport road (Hawli)."
He added, "This traffic point suffers a lot of congestion during Arba'een Visit. So, some noble people of Najaf suggested this bridge and provided the establishment of this bridge without charge and the provincial council to provide a sum of money."
Al-Araji said that "an expanded meeting was held by the Governor of Najaf and the President of the Provincial Council and representatives of all service and academic departments in the province and the donors to the project, including Kufa Cement Factory and the Directorate of Roads and Bridges."
Araji concluded his speech by saying that "All participants agree to start this project. The project will be under the auspices of the Secretariat of Imam Ali Holy Shrine."
