The conference was attended by social and academic personalities and representatives of some NGOs.
The conference considered the challenges of primary education, being the basis of all the following educational stages and that new well-established solutions for the existing problems of education should be polarized.
The conferees discussed the status of Iraqi teachers, curricula, school buildings and all that may contribute to the enhancement of the educational reality.
They also launched a national campaign for the construction and rehabilitation of schools.
