In this glorious ceremony which was held with the presence of Astan Quds Razavi’s Grand Custodian, many prominent scholars, country’s military and civilian officials, Razavi Shrine’s managers and servants, and also pilgrims and people of Mashhad, panegyrists and poets of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) like Seyyed Mahdi Mousavi, Mahdavi, Malaeke, and Sarvari had their eulogies and poems on Hazrat Ali’s (A.S.) qualities and virtues.
Qur’an recitation and poem reading by Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Mo’ayed and anthem performance by Sire al-Nabi (S.A.W.) group were other programs held in this ceremony.
Razavi servants served all the pilgrims with sweet and sherbet in this ceremony held since 10:00 to 12:30 am.
In this ceremony the topic of which was virtues of Rajab month and necessity of making study as a culture in the society, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Hosseini Qomi said that culture of study has to become powerful among families. He also stated, “Many non-Shia people such as Sunni Muslims and Christians have studied and interpreted Nahj al-Balagha for many times, while Shias do not pay attention this book appropriately”.
Noting that engaging with social networks and cyberspace takes us away from studying, he emphasized, “Excessive engagement with social networks takes us away from understanding religious teachings. At the time being, some youths have a constant presence in cyberspace which has got no valuable benefit for them”.
This seminary professor introduced Nahj al-Balagha, Qorar al-Hekam, and Favaed Razaviyeh as books necessary to study for all. He also stated, “Imam Ali (A.S.) says in a tradition that knowledge leads to power and reign. Whoever enjoys education, can rule people and whoever doesn’t, is ruled by others”.
It should be mentioned that special program of Hazrat Ali’s (A.S.) birth anniversary will also be held tonight since 16:00 in Imam Khomeini Grand Portico. Also, in addition to religious lectures, the ceremony will contain eulogies of panegyrists of household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.).
