A delegation of Imam Ali(AS) Holy Shrine participates in the opening of Amir Al-Muminin Specialist Hospital.

In the presence of many of the religious figures, representatives of Supreme Religious Authorities, the secretaries of the holy shrines, the students of Hawza and many people, the Secretary-General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen had participated in the opening of the first stage of Amir Al-Mu'minin (Peace be upon him) Specialist Hospital, which was built by His Eminence Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani to serve the citizens of Holy Najaf and the Nobel visitors.


"This hospital will serve the Shiites of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) and his visitors from all over the world, which will alleviate the suffering of traveling for many patients outside Iraq. We hope that the hospital starts working as soon as possible," said Secretary General Sayyed Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen.

For his part, the resident engineer at Amir al-Mu'minin Hospital, Hashim zaki said, "The first stage Amir al-Mu'minin (Peace be upon him) Specialized Hospital was opened in Najaf. the hospital was built according to the commands of His Eminence The Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani to people of Najaf and the visitors of the Shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (Peace be upon him). The opening of the first stage of the hospital is for ophthalmology and. The area of ​​the building is 2225 square meters and has a ground floor and six floors with an area of ​​14,000 square meters. It contains 110 beds, including the eyes, heart and surgery. The hospital also has six operating halls three for eyes, three for the heart and general surgery."

He added, "The medical devices used is the latest equipment in the world and the equipments may have entered Iraq for the first time. The hospital is charitable and was ordered and follow-up of His Eminence Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani. All the staffs are Iraqis, but there are foreign staffs who will train the Iraqi staffs for a certain period and foreign doctors will be brought in when difficult operations occur."
