Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, today, at evening, before the new year speech of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, in Razavi Holy Shrine said, “We take the coincidence of the new year with the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) as a good omen, and Almighty God descend his blessings for the sake of this auspicious birthday upon us, our government and Islamic nation.”
“As a servant of the Razavi Holy Shrine, I welcome the sacred and holy presence of our beloved, eyes light of Iran and the Islamic nation, and the haven of all the oppressed and the deprived in the world, the Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei” he added.
Board member of the Assembly of Experts, referring to Supreme Leader’s decree said, “We see the decree as the Septet Charter that should be the primary document of all missions of Razavi Holy Shrine.”
* Cultural Mission, the Most Principal Mission of Astan Quds Razavi
“The most crucial points, which in the mission of Astan Quds Razavi in this message and Septet Charter are highlighted is cultural mission” he enunciated.
“In the light of Imam Reza (A.S.) Illumination, the divine and Quranic teachings, and the culture of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) and Razavi conduct should be promoted” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary reminded.
“Establishment of Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi for the first time, to utilize the capacity of the domestic institutions of Astan Quds and many other institutions in the country for this important mission, as well as utilization of media, in particular, founding pilgrimage radio in cooperation with state television and satellite TV in the name of Razavi Holy Shrine are among the steps that have been taken” he said, stressing that all efforts of servants in Astan Quds in various cultural fields is that this part of the illuminated message of the Supreme Leader to be realized.
“Using the capacity of Astan Quds for knowledge enhancement and insight building for eminent pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.), especially adolescents and the youths, setting up educational and cultural camps using the facilities of Astan Quds Razavi, dispatching hundreds of missionaries in the name of Astan Quds in required areas as an active part is in the development path, and the steps have been taken, will be completed this year” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said.
“The second part, is turning the holy city of Mashhad with the old domain and universities in the light of Imam Reza (A.S.) into the scientific authority not only for Islamic Iran, but the Islamic world” he asserted.
Board member of the Assembly of Experts, stating that the steps have been taken in order for Mashhad to be the scientific authority, said, “We hope the actions that have been carried out in order to expert breeding, whether in Razavi University or in International University, become a position to make knowledgeable, revolutionary and influential figures in the Islamic world.”
Facilitate the Pilgrimage from Source to Source
“Regarding the pilgrim and pilgrim orientation, we do not consider pilgrims, only within the Holy Shrine, but from source to source these are pilgrims. Efforts have been made to facilitate the pilgrimage from source to source” he uttered.
“For the pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) Illuminated Grave, from Mir Javeh border, building a pilgrim hostel for Pakistani devotees of Imam Reza (A.S.), to the north to south route, in order for pilgrims to reach Mashhad in an appropriate atmosphere and also within Mashhad places, are foreseen for low-income pilgrims” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated.
“Construction of the pilgrim town, and pilgrim hostels in this regard have been done for low-income pilgrims to visit the Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) with peace” he emphasized.
“Last year, since the birthday of Imam Hasan (A.S.), first-time pilgrims program, for pilgrims who cannot afford it began, and to the date, more than 300 thousand first-time pilgrims have attended the pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) and this is going on with collaboration of Basij, Relief Committee and other parts, so that there are not anyone, who due to the financial problems, is excluded from the great grace of Imam Reza (A.S.) pilgrimage” Board Member of the Assembly of Experts said, pointing to the first-time pilgrims program.
He, stating that the stressed issue by the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, regarding noting the deprived and the oppressed, which is a very important issue and has always been his constant concern, and he has repeatedly reminded the managers and officials thereof, said, “We, concerning the subject, by these amenities there exist in the name of Astan Quds Razavi are addressee.”
“The establishment of the Department of Imam of the oppressed and attention to the deprived with assistance of other departments, not just Khorasan Razavi, but the Great Khorasan, Sistan and Balochistan and other provinces, measures have taken, but they are preliminary and require what is the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated as the slogan of the year; ‘employment and production’, to be considered” he expressed.
“110 Qanats are being dredged, which will create 1000 jobs, and by measures taken about rural, agricultural, greenhouse and animal husbandry industries in the light manner, 2,500 jobs in the first days of the year will be created” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary added.
* Investments of Astan Quds Razavi Must Be for the Relief of the Oppressed Life
“We hope that in this aspect in conjunction with attending the pilgrims, deprived and the needy, we can take steps, which please Imam Reza (A.S.) and resolve problems of the oppressed and the needy” he reminded.
“We believe economic activities of Astan Quds, should head toward the direction of Astan Quds Razavi, meaning the investments should be in the relief of the oppressed lives” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi stressed.
“We are seeking parts to strengthen in our economy to resolve the problems of people's lives, such as drugs for cancer, MS, or some medicines with excessive prices which people in need must provide” he asserted.
“For production and employment, with planning we did last year, we hope that with original function of Resistive Economy, we can take fundamental steps” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary commented.
“We all have to benefit from strategic guidelines of the Supreme Leader at the beginning of the year, and for a working year, all managers and officials and departments must find their way” he reminded.
* 180 Measures Have Been Taken for the First Time in Astan Quds Razavi
“More than 180 measures have been taken for the first time by Astan Quds Razavi in the cultural, social, economic, and the shrine, pilgrims fields which are required to provide detailed reports over” grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi emphasized.
“Astan Quds Razavi can establish the radius of human building and development, not only in various parts of the country, but as the Supreme Leader has said in the Septet Charter, in the Islamic world” he stressed at the end.
“Maybe for some, this is considered as an unachievable ideal; however, we have experienced in the last year, which we can take great strides by this sacred and holy name, which may be the epitome of all developments for various parts of the Muslim world” Board Member of the Assembly of Experts remarked.
