Astan Quds Razavi’s Grand Custodian issued a congratulation message on the occasion of Persian New Year.
The message is as follows:
In the Name of God the Compassionate the Merciful
Oh Allah, send peace and pray upon Fatima, her dear father, husband, and sons and the very secret lied in her, as many as your knowledge can
I congratulate New Year, coincided with birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.), to all. This New Year will be full of blessings for all families, the youth and people, God willing.
Coming of New Year is a change in which tree’s blossoms and leaves become new and one more year is added to everyone’s life. In this nature’s change and evolution, we also require God, as the cause of all these happenings, to change us in a way that we can connect this change, happening at this great time and under the name of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.), to this very illuminated shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.).
Coming to the vicinity of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) or other sacred places at the beginning of the New Year means that the we want to knit our life to the names of household of apostle of God. We also want our conduct and behavior become like that of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) and Imam Reza (A.S.). This is an important message in which a kind of will and choice exists.
Those who come to Mashhad from a long distance want to tell Imam Reza (A.S.) that they want to begin their new year with his name.
Another point is that to have any evolution and change in the New Year, a serious will is needed ant that is our change. If our personal and social change is accompanied by a kind of scientific determination and forehanded movement, these movements and steps will lead to transformation.
We want ourselves to be change, our society be changed and prosperous. This change and evolution needs a serious movement in this area, therefore.
Our dear system and country has ever taken lots of wide steps. Despite of our enemies’ endeavor for putting us in threat and difficulty surviving ways exist in the area of economic issues. This surviving way is resistant economy offered by the Supreme Leader last year.
Inner capabilities of the country have to be paid attention to. These capabilities include presence of numerous young people who have created successful and happy atmospheres where ever they stepped in.
We are rich in various aspects; we have many determined people who have been source of endless blessings in different battle arenas between right and wrong.
God willing, we will more forward thanks to the name of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) and enjoying a strong will and decision for creating a real change in economic areas and for eradicating threatening social harms in the society.
We hope to solve and settle all the problems and difficulties of the country, thanks to the name of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) and with strong will of this land’s men, women, and our dear youths.
As the servants of Iranian people in this very holy sanctuary, we are committed, in line with the seven-part order of the Supreme Leader, to take steps for serving both pilgrims and needy people.
Some actions were done in the last year. These activities were done in terms of attention to pilgrims particularly first-time pilgrims and also in terms of attention to cultural issues. These steps and actions have to be completed in the New Year and the effects and blessings of this illuminated shrine have to felt in solving people’s life.
I want dear people in big Khorasan particularly Mashhad’s people who are hosts of Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) guests and are waiting for their arrival and pilgrims who are happy and move towards Razavi Holy Shrine to get its light to become really changed and consider Razavi Shrine as a class of learning.
I thank everybody and I also hope to be a competent servant for this holy place and for all the pilgrims and citizens of the city.
