The event coincided with the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (AS). The ceremony was also attended by His Eminence Sayyed Alaa Al-Musawi, the President of the Shia Waqf Council, representatives of the Supreme Religious Authority and other social personalities.
Many speeches praising such great achievements were delivered. The speeches referred to the phases of the project including the design’s theme of the construction and stressed that the construction was a great engineering challenge, taking into consideration the architectural elements embedded therein including 18 small domes, 34 fixed and movable tent-shaped glass cases, thousands of mirror-coated interlocking tiles plus a large number of giant chandeliers. On his part, Prof. Dr. Jamal Al-Dabbagh, the KHS Secretary General congratulated all those who took part in the project for the efforts they exerted in achieving it, wishing them all success.
