At the opening ceremony of Imam Reza Stadium, Mahdi Taj stated, “Countries’ soccer is not comparable to their other issues. Today, countries show their power by means of sport and soccer has got an influential role”.
He said, “Iran’s soccer team is now the best Asian team. Also, Iran’s beach soccer and futsal occupy third position in the world”.
“Country’s sport community appreciates Astan Quds Razavi’s Grand Custodian for constructing this stadium as it is among the best and most beautiful ones in Aisa”, Taj said.
Commemorating memory of Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi, Iran’s president of football federation said, “Astan Quds Razavi has to be appreciated for its supports from sports plans in the country and also for sending sports equipment to the various deprived regions”.
