Member of the Assembly of Experts, on Tuesday, January 24th, at the opening ceremony of “Mashhad 2017, the Cultural Capital of Islamic World”, which was held in the Quds Hall of Razavi Holy Shrine, said, “Civility and human civilization, only in light of the teachings of divine Prophets, and the Holy Being of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) and the Infallible Imams (A.S.), as true interpreters of the Quran verses could be formed.”
“Islam, for human life, in various economic, political, and cultural fields, has a model and a guaranteed plan for worldly and hereafter beatitude” he stated, stressing that the human civility is indebted to the teachings of Islam.
“Throughout history, Islam's holy name has been exploited a lot, and today the hegemony, exploiting the name of Islam and with puppeteering Takfiri groups, commits the acts of terror, sow discord, and crime in the world” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary expressed, referring to the abuses of the world’s miscreants in the name of Islam.
“The noble Tradition is what we should have intellectual, moral and practical commitment to, in order to get rid of the demons and being positioned in ‘fortified territory’. We learn from the Tradition that monotheistic life has a critical condition, which is Wilayat” he said, introducing Islam as the most oppressed of the world, and with reference to the Golden Chain Tradition of Imam Reza (A.S.).
“Monotheism, is considered the foundation of the Islamic community, and the community is founded on ethics, spirituality, and social justice, and we have all these doctrines from Islam and the Infallible Imams’ (A.S.) conduct” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated.
“The meaning of the capital of Islamic culture is that today, all Islamic countries must benefit from the teachings of Imam Reza (A.S.) as the great teacher of mankind to shape the contemporary human life, and find their missing by resorting to the teachings of the Imam” he remarked, pointing to naming Mashhad as the cultural capital of Islamic world.
Member of the Assembly of Experts, called increasing ethical problems and spread of atheism, one of today's major threats for Muslim world, and noted “Today, many manifestations of Western corruption threaten the Muslim world, which by teachings and conduct of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) we could immunize Islamic societies.”
Emphasizing that love to the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) is not exclusive to Shi’ites and Sunnis are also devoted to these Imams, he said, “The Infallible Imams (A.S.) are symbols of unity and integration in Islamic society and they wipe the schism and bring unity among Muslims.”
“Muslim Nation, after the Prophet (S.A.W.), if pursue the divine guidance and the teachings of the Prophet, would enjoy a divine life and bring about worldly and hereafter bliss, and if turn away and follow the hegemony, would descend and returned to the days of ignorance” he asserted, pointing to the verse 144 of Surah Al 'Imran.
“The Muslim community, if be compliant to the infidels, arrogant and atheists, and widen the distance with the love of God, and obedience to the teachings of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and the Infallibles (A.S.), then they have lost their Islam” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary enunciated.
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, in the end, with emphasis on the need for Islamic unity against hegemony commented, “What is necessary for the Muslim community today, is that with unity and steadfastness in the path of purpose and stand against the hegemony, it should protect its Islamic identity.”
