The Chairman of the Committee, Sheikh Adil al-Sudani said, "The deceased passed away on Sunday evening, 15 January 2017, during the performance of his duty in Tal Abtah front (south-west of the Nineveh governorate)."
An official funeral ceremony was organized for the deceased Sheikh in the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and was attended by a group of scholars and students of Hawza.
