Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department held a research specialist symposium on the history of Islamic architecture in Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine.

Research and Studies Division belonging to Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department had held research symposium entitled (Shining the Light in the history of Imam Ali Holy Shrine Holy Building) in Amar Ben Yasser hall.

Dr. Abdul Hadi al-Ibrahimi, the expert in Islamic architecture had lectured in the symposium. The administrator of the symposium was the Head Research and Studies Division, Sheikh Muhannad Khaqani. The symposium was attended by members of the board of Directors' of imam Ali Holy Shrine, religious scholars, and group of interested in the affairs of Islamic architecture.

In a statement to the media center of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Dr. Abdul Hadi al-Ibrahimi said, "The Symposium is the main gate to know the construction stages' of Imam Ali Holy Shrine and gilding the dome."

Dr. Abdul Hadi al-Ibrahimi explained the stages of construction of Imam Ali Holy Shrine and detailed the project of gilding the dome.
