The conference, arranged for via the International Media Unit of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, was about the status quo of Iraq. They discussed the role of the holy shrines in maintaining the peace of Iraq and the achievements of the Popular Mobilization Forces comprised of Muslims of all denominations. Sheikh Mohammed Umer, head of the delegation, thanked the Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine, especially the International Media Unit, for the efforts exerted.
The delegation was one of the groups, the International Medial Unit arranged for, who came to acquaint themselves with the status quo of Iraq. The majority of those groups who visited Iraq and the areas liberated from IS said that the reality of what has been taking place is completely different from what the mass media are talking about.
