The first anniversary of Nigerian Shi’ite slaughter was held in the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) portico with presence of scholars, provincial and martial officials and mangers, Astan Quds Razavi managers, pilgrims, and a number of Nigerian Shi’as.
In this special program that was held after the evening prayers after recitation of Qur’an and Aminullah pilgrimage prayer and panegyrizing, Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Ibrahim Raeisi delivered a lecture.
At the beginning of his speech, Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi introduced the words of the prophet (S.A.W.) as reviver of the humankind and reiterated, “From Qur’anic point of view, man is a living creature that uses the material life for divine and celestial perfection by means of learning power; he would not move but in the path God almighty has determined for him.”
Concerning the question whether all the 7 billion people living on the Earth are all among the super creatures and successors of God, Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “That human is successor of God who moves alongside the divine pathway and to the extent a man is close to God and divine masters, will find position and value.”
Pilgrimage, the Human construction school
Noting that the Infallible Imams (A.S.) taught us the lesson of how to live and act upon God’s commandments, he said, “Pilgrimage is the school of human construction and pilgrims in the presence of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) seek to give divine color to all of their tasks so that through repentance, they could clear their sins.”
Stressing that people of society should feel responsible toward commanding to goodness and forbidding the evil, he said, “According to traditions, if a society is indifferent to commanding to goodness and forbidding the evil, it is a dead society with no life therein.”
Also noting that the religion should be manifested in all areas of life, Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Ibrahim Raeisi said, “The religious lifestyle that is the same Alawi, Fatemi, and Razavi lifestyles, is present in all moments of life; sometimes, a decision can drove man to growth and perfection only in a moment and sometimes it will drop him downwards making him even inferior than animals.”
Humanity in the shade of God’s remembrance
Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Ibrahim Raeisi noted that by forgetting God, man will forget himself too and might go so far that not only God but also he would forget the humanity.
“Unfortunately, there are arrogant people in the present world who have forgotten God and are shedding blood of thousands of innocent people and violating rights of many others”, he continued.
Attributing the crimes committing in Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Nigeria to the arrogance spirit, he remarked, “In the face of such imperialistic regimes, the spirit of resistance and endurance should be learned from the resistance model of Imam Reza (A.S.) since his holiness is the model of resistance and Islamic solidarity.”
“According to verses of Qur’an, the future belongs to Mojahids who move on the right path since the right is enduring and the false is doomed to vanishing”, grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said.
Pointing to the Islamic awakening spreading all over the world, he said, “With blessing of martyrs’ blood, we see dominance of warriors in all fronts of Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Nigeria despite the enemies’ sophisticated facilities and weapons.”
Referring to the criminal acts occurred in Nigeria against Shi’as, he said, “Will the flag of Islam and true seeking vanish by slaughter of thousands of innocent Muslim in Nigeria?”
According to Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi today the enemies of Islam have given in and those who assume the freedom of Halab in Syria unbelievable, now saw that Halab got free thanks to the blood of martyrs and resistance of Mojahids and thank God, the resistance front is progressing day by day.
