Congratulating birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and Imam Sadeq (A.S.) and also the unity week at the beginning of the conference, scientific secretary of this conference stated, “In addition to the presence of Iranian scientists and scholars, some prominent religious scholars from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq also participated in the conference”.
Dr. Muhammad HasanZamani added, “Offering lectures by both Iranian and non-Iranian Shia and Sunni scholars, appreciating four unity martyrs who were religious scholars, and setting up an exhibition for the scientific achievements of Sunnis and Shiites and also for poems writing of which has originated from a love toward Imam Reza (A.S.) are some programs of this conference”.
“The main principle of these programs, held with the topic of “Imam Reza (A.S.), symbol of unity and coalition of Islamic nation”, has got historical records. It is because there are plenty of traditions, in Sunni people’s books, on Imam Reza’s (A.S.) qualities and virtues”, he pointed out.
Member of scientific board in al-Mustafa International University referred to Imam Reza’s (A.S.) debates and sessions with other religions and said, “Many people took the advantage of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) presence during his lifetime and participated in his religious sessions and lectures”.
He said, “Imam Reza’s (A.S.) traditions and practical conduct is a model for our society and Astan Quds Razavi has been successful to hold such a conference with the aforementioned topic”.
