Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Reza Daneshwar Thani regarding the issue said, “Available evidence suggests that the oldest endowment of Astan Quds Razavi, in the early Safavid period is registered by the name of the late Atiqi, which includes 22 properties of endowment in the Illuminated Shrine of Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.).”
He mentioned Goharshad Beygum, the wife of Shahrukh Mirza, the oldest donator of Astan Quds Razavi and said, “This educated lady, in the year 829 AH, built Dar al-hefaz and Dar al-Siyadeh porticos, and then dedicated them to Astan Quds Razavi.”
“Haj Hussein Agha Malek is the greatest donator of Astan Quds Razavi, who dedicated 61 villages, plus his personal library and museum with all the exquisite manuscripts and printed copies available to Imam Reza (A.S.) Divine Court” Daneshwar Thani stated.
“Based on existing endowments and endowment documents in Alishahi Scroll, most endowments of Astan Quds Razavi come from Safavid period, which from 907 to 1148 AH have been dedicated to this Heavenly Court” he added.
“Khorasan Razavi, and in particular the city of Mashhad, have the largest endowments in the sacred establishment of Astan Quds Razavi and Mahmudabad Awadh library, in the northern state of India near the city of Lucknow, is considered the farthest endowment of Astan Quds Razavi” Vice president of Legal Affairs and Endowments of Astan Quds Razavi expressed.
He then, mentioned the oldest endowments document available in Astan Quds Razavi, as a written date at the back of an exquisite Quran and the oldest donated Quran, the three Juz's of the Quran appointed to Keshvad bin Amlas, and uttered, “These exquisite endowments are kept in the manuscripts section of Astan Quds Razavi Library.”
“The largest manuscript donator is the Supreme Leader, who has dedicated 16 thousand manuscripts and lithography to this Holy Court” Vice president of Legal Affairs and Endowments of Astan Quds Razavi remarked.
“Among most prestigious endowment documents, Alishahi and Azod al-Molk Scrolls, which are confirmed by 553 scholars, government officials and officials of Astan Quds Razavi could be highlighted” he commented.
Daneshwar Thani, introduced the special endowment of tuning and sound processing of Holy Shrine clock of the finest endowments of Astan Quds Razavi and said, “This endowment is among ones, which in the year 1093 AH, is dedicated to Razavi Holy Shrine.”
