Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Reza Daneshvar Sani said, "The third chapter of Astan Quds Razavi's endowments has been dedicated to light and fuel endowments of the Razavi Holy Shrine and the incomes of these endowments are all spent in these areas".
He added, "Late Mr. Atiqi is the oldest benefactor in this chapter who endowed, in 931 AH/ 1524 AD, 22 properties including lands, gardens, and farms in Mashhad and Chenaran". He also said, "All the incomes of these properties are spent for the lightening of the illuminated court, after deducting remuneration of custodianship and supervision".
"The newest endowed property of this chapter belongs to late Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Ferdowsipour who, 1399 AH/ 1978 AD, endowed one ninth of a subterranean water canal (qanat) in Rafsanjan's Poukeh Sadeq Abad which included a well and its surrounding 25000 square meters land", Daneshvar Sani stated.
He stressed, "In his endowment letter, this benevolent benefactor has mentioned that the incomes and revenues of this endowment have, after deducting the remuneration of custodianship, to be spent on the lightening of the Razavi Holy Shrine".
Incomes of these endowments are used to buy lightening devices such as chandeliers and lamp. Also, the earned money is spent for on lightening expenses and repairing and cleaning these devices.
It is also worth mentioning that this chapter's endowments are 500 years old so these endowments are considered as one of the oldest endowments of the organization.
