Qariban Eve ritual of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) was held in the evening of Wednesday Safar 30th, 1438, after performing evening and night prayers in the Razavi Divine Court, attended by a large number of servants, mourners, and heavyhearted of Samen al-Hujaj (A.S.).
The sorrowful ceremony, according to every year procedure, by performing evening and night prayers, began in the Central Organization of Astan Quds Razavi, and then, servants of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.), while having lit tulips candles in hand, moved from front of the Central organization of Astan Quds Razavi, located in Shohada intersection in Mashhad toward Razavi Illuminated Court, and they gathered in the Inqilab courtyard.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, and Seyyed Morteza Bakhtiari, Deputy custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, frontward of thousands of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) Illuminated Court servants, holding lit candles in hand, mourned in the courtyard of Inqilab.
Servants of Razavi Divine Court, along with Mahdi Rasouli, started mourning and chest beating, for martyrdom of their master, and enjoyed the elegy reading in Persian and Azeri.
Masses of pilgrims and neighbors of Imam Reza (A.S.) Divine Court, also along the path of attendance, and at the Inqilab courtyard ceremony, along with servants, mourned and shed tears of sorrow.
It should be noted that Qariban Eve ritual of Imam Reza (A.S.) is held every year at the eve of the Eighth Imam martyrdom anniversary, and the pilgrims and neighbors in Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine, can watch this traditional ritual.
