Friday prayer Leader of Golestan province in an interview hailed people move in making Arbaeen, one of the most revered religious occasions on the Islamic calendar stressing, "Commemorating Arbaeen in Torkaman culture is a practice made for reviving the culture of sacrifice and Martyrdom."
According to the Head of Erfari Qazan Qayeh religious seminary, Heroic moves and sacrifices of Imam Hussein (PBUH) should be kept alive so as to preserve the divine religion of Islam and Islamic teachings.
The religious cleric held the occasion of Abreen (culmination of a 40-day mourning period after the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hussein) as the main symbol of patience and resistance for all human being.
Akhound Naser Qezel went on to underline, "Observing this religious event and presence of Muslim in this religious ceremony is in point of fact the result of valiant effort and martyrdom of those brave mem (during 8 imposed Iraq war)."
Else where in his remarks, the Friday prayer Leader of Golestan province underlined that the standing peace, security and serenity in Islamic Republic of Iran was because of the resistance of martyrs during the 8 years of war Saddam regime imposed on Iran.
It is noteworthy that millions of pilgrims have gathered in Iraq's holy city of Karbala to commemorate Arbaeen marks the culmination of a 40-day mourning period after the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hussein, Prophet Muhammad's grandson and the third Shia Imam.
Over the past days, large crowds of Shia mourners from various countries have arrived in Imam Hussein's shrine in Karbala.
