One hundred seventeen thousand Pakistani pilgrims have been entered Iran from Mirjaveh border crossing

Secretary of Arbaeen committee of Sistan-o-Baluchistan province of Iran said that one hundred seventeen thousand Pakistani pilgrims have been entered in Iran from Mirjaveh border crossing since the beginning of this year.


Ghulam Raza Ganji the secretary of Arbaeen committee of Sistan-o-Baluchistan province of Iran has said in a meeting of Arbaeen committee that last year, thirty two projects were approved in six meetings of Arbaeen committee and similarly seventy six projects have been approved in five meetings of committee held during this year.

He added that cultural committee, public participation committee, transportation committee, relief and rescue committee, information and supervisory committee and other committees are subcommittees of Arbaeen committee and these committees have held thirteen meetings in which fifty seven projects have been approved.

Secretary of Arbaeen committee, while pointing towards the fact that sixty one thousand two hundred four Pakistani pilgrims have entered in Iran and fifty six thousand three hundred and two pilgrims have returned home in this year, said that last year, sixty two thousand five hundred sixty two Pakistani pilgrims were entered in Iran and forty seven thousand four hundred and one pilgrims were returned home.

He added that actions like appointment of medical team at the border of Mirjaveh and pilgrims area of Imam Reza (A.S), test of malaria, comprehensive security plan, preparation of cultural bag for Pakistani pilgrims, management of appropriate buses for the transportation of pilgrims from the border crossing of Mirjaveh to the pilgrims area of Imam Reza (A.S) and appointment of Urdu preacher at border crossing of Mirjaveh and pilgrims area of Imam Reza (A.S) have been taken.
