Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi: “Aristocratic and Luxurious Life, Is Not Seemly for Officials of the Islamic Government”

“Aristocratic and luxurious life, does not suit the officials of the Islamic government, and it is not decent for them” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said.


Board Member of the Assembly of Experts, on Tuesday evening, October 25th, at a meeting on the interpretation of Sura al-Ahzab, which was held in Goharshad Mosque warm bedchamber, stating that the use of material resources in the required forms is alright, but it should be noted that the world is not the destination and intention, reminded, “Wealth accumulation from lawful ways is not forbidden in Islam; however, if an official became materialist and greedy, will not provide a good example to the community and it is in contrast with their social and religious missions.”
Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, referring to the verses 26-27 of Sura al-Ahzab, where God says, “And He brought down those of the People of the Book who supported them from their fortresses and cast terror in their hearts; some you slew, some you made captive. And He bequeathed upon you their lands, their habitations, and their possessions, and a land you never trod. God is powerful over everything.” said, “According to this holy verse, God in Ahzab War, brought down the Jews who supported Arab polytheists from their high towers and castles, and cast terror in their hearts, and God handed their land, homes and properties to Muslims.”
“As a result of the war, the last remaining of Islam enemy’s groups left Medina, plenty of enemy belongings were given to Muslims, the position of Islam was established, and unison spread in the Muslim community” he stated, introducing final outcome of the Ahzab War, the victory of the Muslims, and perpetual defeat of the infidels. 
Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary, then, pointed to the verses 28-30 Sura al-Ahzab, and expressing that God in these verses talks about the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.), stated “Following the enjoyment of Ahzab War spoils by Muslims, the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.) turned to the development of life, and demanded His Highness luxuries, and plenty of welfare amenities to which the Messenger of God opposed.” 
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, stating that God says in verse 28 of this Sura, “O Prophet, say to thy wives: 'If you desire the present life and its adornment, come now, I will make you provision, and set you free with kindliness.” asserted “This verse tells us that grasping the wealth of the world is not forbidden; however, it diminishes the status of the family of the Prophet, and officials of the Islamic community.”
“In this verse, God addressed the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and said, ‘whoever of you commits evil and a manifested sin, their torment will be doubled, and if do a righteous deed, the bonus will be doubled. Obviously, always, sensitive and honorable positions, come with heavy responsibilities, moreover, not only the Prophet (S.A.W.) is the role model of the people, his family must also be ones” Board member of the Assembly of Experts said on the verse 30 of Sura al-Ahzab.
It should be noted, series of Quran interpretation sessions, by the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi will be held Tuesday nights, after the evening and night prayers in Goharshad Mosque warm bedchamber.
