The Azad Islamic University of Zahedan city of Iran has organized a conference in the city. Both Shia and Sunni scholars have invited in the conference. The purpose of this conference is to promote the unity among Muslims. Both Shia and Sunni scholars will speak about the life of Imam Hussain (AS) in the conference.
Imam Hussain (AS) was the grandson of holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and he sacrificed his life, wealth and family in the battle of Karbala to save the religion of Islam.
The name of conference is “The rise of Imam Hussain (AS) in the opinion of Imam Hussain (AS)”
It is worth mentioning that a huge population of Sunni Muslims lives in Iran. Sunni Muslims have freedom to practice Sunni Islam in Iran.
There is a rumor in Pakistan that there is no mosque for Sunni Muslims in Iran which is not true.
It is worth mentioning that there are a lot of mosques for Sunni Muslims in Iran. There are few cities of Iran where there is no population of Sunni Muslims so there is no mosque for Sunni Muslims in those cities which is natural.
