Gholam Muhammad Zarei the representative of Boyer-Ahmad and Dena in Islamic Consultative Assembly addressed a mourning session last night in this city. He said that Muharram is the best opertunity to preach Islam, Our mourning sessions should please Imam Hussain A.S.
Zarai said that Ashoora teaches us the best way to adopt at the time of chaos. other lessons of Ashoor are: to not accept humilitation, to stand against cruelity, enjoining right and forbiding wrong, to live and dir free, serving Islam till death.
He said that Ashoor gives us lesson to stand firm against the enemy of Islam.
He continued by saying that we need to differentiate right from wrong and for the purpose we should understand each aspect of the life of Imam Hussain A.S.
He said that philosophy of Ashoor should be presented in a way that everyone can understand his responsibility out of it. Because Ashoor is reflection of Islam and Quran.
The commemoration of this brutal massacre begins on the first day of Muharram and continues for 40 days. During the first 10 days of Muharram millions of Shi'a (and Sunni) Muslims remember the massacre at Karbala and strive to feel some of Husayn's pain.
The 10th day of Muharram is known as 'Ahsura' which recalls the day of the massacre in Karbala, a town in modern day Iraq which is second only to Mecca and Najaf as a spiritual beacon to the Shi'a.
