Top Cleric: Imam Hussain(A.S) brought great change in the world

Head of Islamic sciences academy in Qom said that Imam Hussain A.S. was not after being a ruler. He wanted to bring reforms in the society and he did so.

Hujjatul Islam Syed Muhammad Mahdi Mir Bageri the head of Islamic sciences academy in Qom said that there are many questions asked regarding Karbala and one of those is that did Imam Hussain A.S. win this battle or not.
The answer to this question is simple that we may review the motives of Imam Hussain A.S. behind this stand. His motive was to spread the true preaching of Islam worldwide and all of us are witness to this victory.
He said that Imam Hussain wanted to achieve a great goal in life and that could not be achieved except his martyrdom.
All those who are familiar with the Imam's life do certainly realize that his role in serving Islam had started very early in his life. He has contributed to the rising Islamic movement when he was a boy, and played a significant role, when his father was the Commander of the faithful, taking part in all three wars that his father fought along with the rest of the faithful companions and followers.
These are the main reasons that gave Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions the right to declare the victorious revolution, which immortalized Islam and inspired the coming generations to defend it and to hold fast in the Holy Wars of Jihad.
