The representative of Supreme Leader of Iran and leader of Friday prayers of Ardabil province while addressing to the participants of Friday prayers invited all the free people to take part in sessions organized to commemorate Imam Hussain (AS) and battle of Karbala and promote unity.
He said that the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) are like a heritage for the whole world.
Ayatollah Amli said that Imam Hussain (AS) is not a leader of any religion or sect but a leader of all free people of the world.
His Eminence added that the battle of Karbala teaches us the lesson of freedom and justice.
He said that Karbala can serve as a center of unity for people of all the religions.
He continued that several kings and governments have tried to stop commemorating Imam Hussain (AS) but history is witness; there is no sign of those governments where is the message of Imam Hussain (AS) is still there and people commemorate Imam Hussain (AS) every year.
In the end Ayatollah Amli said that Imam Hussain (AS) is not a leader of any religion or sect but a leader of all free people of the world.
