Head of the Shi’a Scholars’ Council of Europe: Al Saud doesn’t deserve to run the Hajj

Referring to the crimes and atrocities carried out by the Wahhabis, Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani-Gilani asserted that the Al Saud does not deserve to run the Hajj affairs.

In commemoration of the anniversary of the Mina stampede which resulted in the murder of thousands of Hajj pilgrims last year, a ceremony was held in honour of the martyrs ofthis tragedy at the Islamic Centre of Hamburg, Germany.

During the ceremony, the head of the Shi’a Scholars’ Council of Europe, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Reza Ramezani-Gilani, spoke on the bloody tragedy of Mina, as well as the incidents in the Sacred Mosque which led to the killing of thousands pilgrims during last year’s Hajj rituals, were a result of the incompetency of the Saudi to run the Hajj affairs and added, “Today, the world is struggling with a crisis called Wahhabism. A sect which is rooted on a false doctrine and sadly was established under the name of Islam, Wahhabism is supported and managed by the arrogant powers.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani-Gilani said, “It seems to me that now is the time to shed light on the true nature of Wahhabism. If humankind wishes to thrive and progress, they need to pursue the path of knowledge and proper understanding of religion. The truths need to be spoken out so the ignorant ones will go conscious and do not fall for deceitful rhetoric.”
