Ceremony of the first Goharshad Award was held at the Quds auditorium of the Razavi Holy Shrine's Central Library. Ayatollah Alam al-Huda, representative of Wali Faqih in Razavi Khorasan, Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Mr. Rashidian, the governor-general, officials of the country and the province, and also some prominent ladies from Iran, Yemen, Bahrain, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Iraq, Nigeria, Cameron, and Ivory Coast were present at this ceremony.
Four superior Iranian women were appreciated in this ceremony. Fatima Navvab Safavi, revolutionary jihadist and responsible of Navvab Safavi cultural institute, Simindokht Vahidi, mother of revolution's poem, Lobat Geranpayeh, Specialist physician and benefactor in medicine area, and Khadijeh Neyzari, member of the country's assembly of benefactors were these four benefactor ladies.
Also, Maftouneh Ataam, an active woman from Turkey and chief of Hazrat Zahra's (A.S.) society, Shole Shakib, revolutionary physician from Bahrain, Nazanin Karim, chief of Shi'ite sisters network in Kenya, and Halimeh Khalf Saleh Jibouri, Iraqi fighter against Takfiris were the non-Iranian ladies appreciated in this ceremony.
Sheikh Zakzay's daughter who is also sister of six martyrs was appreciated in the same ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that to develop the culture of charity and to appreciate top ladies in the Islamic world, the first conference of Goharshad Award was held in the Quds auditorium of the Astan Quds Razavi's Central Library on Shahrivar 10th, 1395/ August 31st, 2016.
