In the sideline of meeting of Mashhad friday prayer leader with custodians of sacred premises, Hujjat al-Islam Raiesi among the reporters stressed on unity across the Islamic world and noting that the sacred Astans have a significant role in reinforcing the resistance front, he remarked , “Today, Muslims have shared enemies and threats and unfortunately, some Islamic countries have been directly invaded; in these conditions, the unity of sacred Astans represents the unity of all Muslims against the enemies of Islam and Takfiri groups.”
Pointing to the blessed time and place of holding the meeting, Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi added, “This meeting convened on birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.) in the Razavi Holy Shrine. This blissful coincidence is significant in this way that Imam Reza (A.S.) was always the cause of unification and solidarity with his conduct and Islamic personality.”
Noting that the flag of unification of the Islamic world was hoisted by the late Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and today the flag is in the Supreme Leader’s hand, he added, “Holding the first round of meeting of sacred Astans hosted by Iran as a country that has hoisted the flag of unity and convergence in the Islamic world, has added to the outcomes and blessings of the meeting.”
Pointing to the common missions of sacred Astans, Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Just like the Infallible Imams (A.S.) and their descendants, who stepped on a single pathway, today the sacred Astans also share a single goal and that is the propagation of knowledge of Qur’an and the Household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) and providing for salvation and happiness of humankind.”
“Undoubtedly, the cooperation and synergy of sacred Astans can be extremely helpful in raising the insight of the pilgrims of the sacred premises and also in resolving the problems and challenges before the Islamic community”, he added.
Considering pilgrimage as one of the essential strategies of Islam in immunizing the society, Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “In the age that the enemies of Islam try hard to diminish the issues of pilgrimage and recourse in the society, unity of sacred Astans can result in their prosperity and this unity can help to people’s affection to God and can intensify their rage and harshness against the enemies of the religion.”
