‘Under the Shade of the Sun’ Caravan’s Visit to Deprived Shi’ite Villages of India

The cultural-propagative ‘Under the Shade of the Sun’ caravan in its travel to India visited several deprived Shi’ite villages and was welcomed warmly by the devotees of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.).

The first stop of the Razavi servants and preachers was in Shi’ite villages of Chittoor, Abbas Negar, and Avalakonda in Andhra Pradesh province. Though poverty-stricken, the villages had numerous Husseiniyehs and villagers performed the Islamic rituals eligibly. The Razavi servants distributed the cultural blessed gifts of Astan Quds Razavi in the villages.
Buganan village was the next destination of the caravan. In a celebration held on the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.), Hujjat al-Islam Masrur Hussein, the Friday Prayer Leader of Buganan Sadat, gave a lecture about the love to the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) followed by recitation of the especial blessings and the ceremony of flag handing.
After the ceremony, the members of the ‘Under the Shade of the Sun’ caravan visited the fair set up in the Bab al-Ilm School for Imam Reza’s (A.S.) birthday anniversary and took part in the scientific meeting titled ‘The pure life of Imam Reza (A.S.), the lesson of life’.
It is notable that the ceremony of the caravan ended with their participation in the great ‘Under the Shade of the Sun’ celebration in Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) Mosque in Bangalore city where the scholars and distinguished figures of the city were present. After Qur’an recitation, Bangalore friday prayer leader delivered a lecture and recounted the ‘Under the Shade of the Sun’ programs as a great service towards awakening of Shi’ite Indians and propagation of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) school of thought. The ceremony ended with dedication of gifts by Astan Quds Razavi and consecrating the blessed flag of the Razavi Holy Shrine by people.
