The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participates with a high-level delegation at the first Conference of the Muslim world's holy shrines in Mash'had, Iran.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by a high-level delegation headed by its General Secretary Sayed Mohammad Al-Asheqar, has participated in the first edition of the first Conference of the holy shrines in the Muslim world, which was held in conjunction with the auspicious birth anniversary of the eighth Imams, Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Mash'had in Republic of Iran, under the auspices of the holy shrine of Imam A-r-Reda (peace be upon him).


There was twelve High Responsible and General Secretary of the holy shrines in Iraq, Iran and Syria in addition to the Shiite Endowment in Iraq.

The head of the Shiite Endowment in Iraq; Sayed 'Alae Al-Musawi had a word in this conference, in which he delivered the word of the supreme religious authority; Sayed Al-Sistani about the holy shrines and their critical role in protecting the religion and deepening its impact in the Muslim communities.

The Director of Public Relations and Public Information at the holy shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him) has stated for his part: "The conference is held to make the general secretaries of the holy shrines in Iraq, Iran and Syria to exchange views and opinions on the issues and the current situation of the Muslim world, as well as signing a memorandum aiming to develop the cooperation and the joint work between the holy shrines."

Adding: "The conference started with the rituals of replacing the flag of the Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him), then many bilateral meetings between the Secretaries General of the holy shrines in Iran and the participation of the guests at the celebrations of the birth anniversary of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him)."
