In this meeting which was also attended by Gen. Jahanshahi, commander of NEZAJA North East Forward Operating Base, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi said, “Enemies have found that due to the strength of the armed forces, and their strong base among the people they cannot attack this country; if they find the ability in themselves, certainly they will not hesitate a moment.”
“Thanks to God, the Islamic Republic of Iran military, with efforts made after the Imposed War, has had extensive renovations and has managed both in terms of equipment and military facilities, and also training in the martial arts and physical and mental fitness to grasp a good condition, which of course this process should not be halted” he asserted.
“Looking at the recent history of our nation, we figure out that the power of faith of people emerged against the tyranny of the Shah government, and then in the eight-year war, and while many Western and European countries had formed a united front against us we were able to win through trust in God and the power of faith” Member of the Assembly of Experts said, stating that one of the components of authority is faith in Almighty God.
“The most important aspect of the authority of the Islamic system is the Supreme Leader of Revolution. Existing of a sagacious, courageous, aware of global issues, and observer of enemy conditions leadership, heartens the commanders” he said, mentioning the other aspect of the authority as strong leadership.
“During the 33-day and 22-day wars of Lebanon Hezbollah with Zionist regime, this same risk-taking arising from the power of faith of military commanders could bring one of the best equipped armies in the world to desperation” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi reiterated.
He, pointing to an Arab poet, who described the state of leaders of the two countries of Iran and Iraq before and after the war, said, “That day on which Saddam began the war, he was at the summit of his power; however, Imam Khomeini (R.A.) was the one who could change the fate of war by winning the hearts and crossing geographical borders, and by so he immortalized his name in history.”
“The thinking today in Yemen, caused the frustration and defeat of the House of Saudi and Yemeni’s resistance, has changed the judgment of the world about them from a weak country to a strong and powerful nation and also has disgraced Saudi’s military” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary expressed.
“We believe, we should procure the latest findings of the world and always be aware of the enemy’s condition. Commanders should always monitor the situation and keep the equipment up to date” Hojjat al-Eslam Raeisi said, announcing that today equipped and disciplined military bases exist in the province.
“Today, by the efforts of the Commander in Chief, as an insightful and insight-building commander, and also the efforts of the armed forces, major steps towards equipping the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran to weapons and righteousness has been carried out and the status of the Army among people is so popular which is to say that the most important token of security is the presence and awareness of people and their valuable relationship with the armed forces” he enunciated.
At the beginning of the meeting, Gen. Jahanshahi, offered a report on the North East Military Base, and appreciated the new measures of Astan Quds Razavi dealing with the deprived and the oppressed.
