The Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad continues its campaign to relief the displaced families of the people of Shargat through providing them with drinking water, food parcels, medical supplies and clothing despite the risks and difficulties faced by the relief teams. This campaign is in compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority.

The media office of the squad has explained: "The movements of the relief team to the representations of the provinces of Shi Qar, Diwaniyah, Muthanna and Maysan, came in compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and in accordance to the orders of the general supervisor of the squad; Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi. This is the fourth campaign during three consecutive weeks, as the relief teams do their best to help the displaced people of the Al-Hajjaj village currently displaced in Baiji."

The statement noted: "The relief teams have noticed the deplorable condition of the families because of their suffering from hunger and thirst, especially the infants, so the relief teams have provided them with baby milk with feeding bottles, and have distributed food baskets containing canned juices and sweets along with sterilized drinking water with ice. As there were some 2000 ice bulks distributed to all areas in which families are displaced. The relief teams have also distributed clothes, shoes and blankets." Stressing that: "This move drew a smile back on the pale faces of the elders, children and women who were terrorized by the criminality of the Takfiri gangs of ISIL."

For their part, the displaced families have expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the positions of the supreme religious authority and the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad for this generous gesture and blessed efforts.
