The sky of Karbala and its holy shrines is filled with grief and sorrow

When the nation is the result of grief and sorrow throughout history, inevitably it recalls the misfortunes and sorrows of its symbols, by whose existence the life has blossomed, and both their lives and deaths have been a grace for the hearts of their followers.

And here is Karbala and its holy shrines covered with black to mark the mourning rituals of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) the sixth Imam of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), who was a knowledge beacon, to whom pilgrims from all over the world came to learn from the fountains of his knowledge.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine as usual in commemorating the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), has prepared a special program for the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far As-Sadeq (peace be upon him), which falls on Saturday 25th Shawwal 1437 AH, including the funeral Majlis of the staff to be held tomorrow morning in the hall of honours, in addition to the special condolences' procession of the staff of the two holy shrines. The holy shrine has also announced its readiness to receive the condolences' procession from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala in this sad occasion.

It is to mention that Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) was martyred during the month of Shawwal in the year 148 AH by poisoned grapes that Al-Mansur has given him. Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) was buried in the cemetery of Baqi' next to his father and grandfather (peace be upon them), and he was then sixty five years old.
