Head of Philippine Lawyers Union Embraced Shi’ite Islam in the Razavi Holy Shrine


According to the Astan Quds Razavi news website, Izaeilito Torion, from Mindanao, Philippine referred to Office of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi and after taking part in a question and answer session attended by religious experts of this office uttered Shahadatain and converted to Islam.
“I am very happy to benefit this divine gift and I hope I can fulfill my duties before God as a real Muslim”, he said.
Referring to the motive behind this great decision in his life, Head of Philippine Lawyers Union said, “I started studying about Islam since years ago and finally I came to realize the truth of this religion.”
Being already a Catholic Christian, he added, “Islam is the completed chain of Christianity and Catholics is the first branch of Christianity. Through abundant studies about Islam I found interesting issues that urged me to continue my studies about Islam.”
The 44-year old convert added, “By close research I found out that Islam guides to the right way and I found faith that God is one and Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.) is the messenger of God and Ali (A.S.) is his continuant and the guide to God’s way.”
“I read the whole Qur’an to find the questions and doubts in my mind and once I did so I found the answer of many questions through reflecting into the meaning of verses”, he pointed out.
“Reciting the holy Qur’an and the biography of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) opens a way in the life that makes man more interested as he goes deeper”, Head of Philippine Lawyers Union said.
“Now after pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) I can understand the meaning of emotional and spiritual connection and I have found a certain heart connection with this kind Imam that gives me tranquility in this holy place”, he said after going on pilgrimage.
