On Tuesday evening 21st Sha'ban 1436 AH corresponding to the 9th of June 2015, the events of the seventh edition of the Annual Cultural Festival of the Safety held by the body of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the Diwaniyah province under the slogan: "Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) the reviver of the religion's aspects and the clear water of the Mujahideen" in collaboration with the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam Al-Hussayn, Imam Al-Kadhem and Imam Al-Jawad and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them all) to celebrate the birth anniversary of the awaited Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), and which last for four days, was concluded.
In the closing ceremony, Sheikh 'Aqeel Ali Al-Zubaidi, the head of the cultural board of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) stated: "In its last day, the festival included various events, such as paying tribute to the children of the volunteers Mujahideen of the popular mobilization and the orphans of the Diwaniyah province, in addition to honoring the prominent and influential figures of Diwaniyah. The ceremony also included a search presented by Sayed. Mohamed Sadeq Al-Khurasan focused on the names of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) and their link with the factor of the human development currently and in the past."
He Added: "The closing ceremony included also presenting the appreciation certificates and shields to all who contributed and participated in the success of the festival, at their forefront the holy shrines. This edition is considered as one of the distinct edition of this festival as throughout all the days in which it was held, it received a large attendance from all community groups from the province of Diwaniyah and beyond in addition to the delegations that represented 12 countries."
The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was honored by the Supreme Committee supervising the festival by the festival's shield and appreciation certificates, in appreciation of its efforts either by its contribution in the organization or by its effective participation in its various activities in addition to its media efforts.
It is to note that the Annual Cultural Festival of Safety held by the cultural board of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him for the seventh year in row in collaboration with the holy shrines to celebration the auspicious birth anniversary of the Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), includes many cultural activities centered on this great personality, and aims to clarify the truth of the mainstay of our faith, which is the Imam Al-Hujjah Ibn Al-Hassan (peace be upon both of them) in the country that represents the incubator of the great upcoming revolution, aiming changing the general mentality of negative wait culture to the culture of the effective wait that motivates to change the reality to the better either in the educational, social, scientific, economic or political terms, making this wait a principle of the dignified free life.
