Some of Iraqi soldiers talked about their contribution to Arba'een pilgrimage

A group of the Iraqi army contributed to offering free services to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). Not only were the troops ensuring security to pilgrims during the Arba'een pilgrimage, but they also offered foods, water, and medical services to them.

Soldiers said it was the fourth year for them to contribute to the Arba'een pilgrimage. They also said that they spent their off-duty time and their own salaries, in addition to some help from others, in order to serve pilgrims.

They said further that their group serving pilgrims consisted of Iraqi Sunnie, Shia, Turkic, and Kurdish soldiers. That indicates that the Arba'een pilgrimage succeeded in uniting the components of the Iraqi people by gathering all the religions and denominations together.
