These works came in order to contribute to the release of the severe overcrowding taking place in this area, as the department's staff has executed these works under the direct supervision of the General Secretary of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, after having performed site surveys for the entrances and exits of the area between the two holy shrines, then an action plan was developed and executed by adding new entrance to the visitors in the areas that witness cases of crowding and in the area close to the gate of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), and other entrances/exits were expanded accordingly, while dedicating some of them only for the entrances and others only for the exits as they were for both, other outlets were dedicated for the entrances and exits of women, all of which was done using harmonious materials with the fence between the two holy shrines in order to show it in a suitable way.
