Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at this meeting, which was held in the Wilayat Hall of Razavi Holy Shrine, first listened to the comments of members of the Cultural Commission and in the end replied a number of issues.
“Conveying Razavi culture and conduct to the Muslim world is an important issue that requires some mechanisms and in addition to Astan Quds Razavi, all ministries and relevant organizations should also make endeavor” he said.
“From the beginning of presence in the holy city of Mashhad, I had the scientific authority of the city in mind, and inspired by the conduct of Imam Reza (A.S.), we have put issues such as dialogue between religions and introducing pure Shi’ite and Islamic teachings on the agenda” he expressed regarding the promotion of scientific conduct of Imam Reza (A.S.).
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, mentioned close public contact as other new measures of the institution and noted, “We tried to keep in touch with the people, pay more attention to their needs, and make efforts to meet their problems as much as possible.”
He mentioned Astan Quds Razavi as a great and unsurpassed capacity, where there are many divine blessings, and asked the different parliamentary committees which are involved in directing government agencies, budget issues, and long-term planning to heed these capacities in their decision-making.
“Our example is in resistance, endurance against falsehood, corruption and hegemony, and this year in which the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.) is coincided with the Islamic Resistance Day, we may seek help more than ever in this path” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi said, stating that the pilgrimage is a human-making and immunization system.
He also mentioned the development of Imam Reza (A.S.) hostel, significant increase in the mosques and mid-road establishments, construction of affordable pilgrim resorts, analyze and study Razavi network, expansion of services to non-Iranian pilgrims etc., as new programs of Astan Quds Razavi.
During the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Pezhmanfar, the Director of Cultural Commission said, “Razavi Holy Shrine is one of the places, which present peace to citizens and the government and Consultative Assembly should strive to use this capacity.”
“The fact that the interests of people inside and abroad to attend the holy city of Mashhad is rapidly increasing brings satisfaction; however, with the same rate, facilities, services, and infrastructures needed should be established by Astan Quds Razavi and government” he reiterated.
The members of the Commission also offered some suggestions for enhancing services to pilgrims and cultural issues of holy Mashhad.
